A former recipient of the Fashion Business Institute’s 2014 designer of the year. Few people stand out in the fashion and entertainment industry as designer, writer and actor, BK Phillips. For close to 30 years, BK’s designs and clothing craved out a niche for himself as an fashion innovator, wardrobe stylist and designer. Bk helped bring fashion to the streets of San Diego by creating fashion events for night clubs and venues. A promising career led him to Los Angeles in 2010 and he hasn’t looked back since. His work and designs have been worn by such artist as R&B/gospel duo Mary Mary, the pop/rock group Piece the Veil and musical icon Cee-lo Green. Bk design’s have also graced the shoulders of such legends as Snoop Dog and Mary J. Blige. Never slowing down, BK began acting in 2016 and has since turned up in a number of feature films like “80 for Brady”, and TV shows such as BET’s “The Family Business”. In 2021 he began working as a journalist for the high end art and lifestyle’s publication Art Confidential. Covering everything from the hottest fashion trends to flying cars. His published work has featured some of the most talented artist in fine art, fashion to the brightest minds in tech. BK Phillips lives by the power of his creativity, rather it be in fashion or film, he reminds one to watch.
